Sentencing hearings are scheduled for today for a man charged in eight arson cases and two related cases.
21-year-old Dylan Dalessio of Plumville will go before Indiana County President Judge Tom Bianco today for eight sentencing hearings related to fires set between 2016 and 2019 in Northern Indiana County. He pleaded guilty to single counts of arson with the danger of death or bodily injury in four cases, one count to arson with the intent to destroy an unoccupied building in a fifth, and three counts of conspiracy to arson with danger of death or bodily injury in three others. He is also scheduled for sentencing for a guilty plea to insurance document fraud in 2019 and one count of witness intimidation, also in 2019.
A sentencing hearing is also scheduled today for 44-year-old Christopher Lee Falcone of Vintondale, who was charged in connection with a drug-related case in October of 2020, where he was connected with an investigation in East Wheatfield Township that turned up items consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Three children were also present during the making of the drugs. On July 27th of this year, he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a precursor substance. A co-defendant in this case, Santana Crusan, also of Vintondale, was already sentenced to three months to a day less than two years in county jail and one year of probation for a guilty plea to possession of a precursor substance.
