A long time Cherry Hill Township supervisor has passed away.
Terry W. Stifler passed away Thursday at the age of 70. He was in the middle of a six-year term as a member of the township supervisors board, and had served in that capacity for 37 years. While he was on the Board of supervisors, he was also a great supporter of the fire department, according to Cherry Hill Township Fire Chief Jody Rainey.
A Marion Center high School graduate, he served in the US Air Force for 4 years, and was also a board member of ICCAP, and was a caretaker for Harmony cemetery as well.
The Rairigh funeral Home in Hillsdale will be in charge of arrangements, with a private internment to be held later on. We will have complete details on his funeral service in our obituary notices on our website and in later newscasts.
