Officials with PennDOT announced some new features coming to 511PA, Pennsylvania’s leading travel website and mobile app.
In partnership with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, PennDOT announced updates to the 511PA Travel Links page to include new information for reporting concerns about human trafficking. Travelers can navigate to the “Human Trafficking Prevention” tab and find the state police Human Trafficking Tipline, find tips on how to spot human trafficking, and ways to safely report an incident.
Other updates include a “PennDOT Bridges” feature, which is geared towards benefitting commercial vehicle drivers. It shows locations for all state-owned bridges with weight or other limits, along with closed bridges.
And those looking to head to Williamsport to catch this year’s Little League World Series can use 511PA to check real-time and alternate-route travel conditions. Motorists can log on to 511PA.com/LLWS to check conditions.
