Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco has denied Justin Stevenson’s petition for relief from his life sentence for the murders of Timothy Gardner and Jacqueline Brink, who were beaten to death in October 2016 at their apartment in Cherryhill Township.
Stevenson was sentenced to life behind bars with no chance of parole after he pleaded guilty in 2018 to two counts of second degree murder. His post-conviction petition for relief was filed in September of 2020. Bianco turned it down on January 2nd of this year.
Co-defendant Nathanael Price pleaded guilty in November of last year to two counts of third degree murder plus other offenses and was sentenced to 65 to 130 years in state prison.
Stevenson is serving his sentence at SCI Houtzdale. Price is in SCI Smithfield.
