The case of a woman charged in connection with the death of her infant son will move on to Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas.
Court documents show that charges filed against 21-year-old Patricia Ann Hullenbaugh were held for court after her preliminary hearing yesterday. She is charged with felony criminal homicide, endangering the welfare of children, strangulation and possession of an instrument of crime for a case on January 6th, where she allegedly held a blanket over a baby’s head and smothered it. State police were called out to her home when they received a report of a baby being unable to breathe. When they arrived, she told police the baby was found hanging out of the crib, face down into the mattress, but later recanted the story.
As she is charged with homicide, she will remain in Indiana County Jail. A formal arraignment hearing will be held May 28th at 1:15 PM in front of County Judge Gina Ryen Force.
