Traffic was tied up on one of Indiana’s major highways due to a two-car crash this morning.
The crash was reported near the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Florence Avenue at 9:00 this morning. Indiana Fire Association and State Police were called to the scene. Indiana Fire Assistant Chief Ron Moreau said that the crash was a t-bone style collision in the inbound lanes. No injuries were reported. While traffic was reduced to one lane eastbound and two lanes westbound, Moreau said that the recent expansion of the highways actually helped them in this situation.
Crews were on the scene for 30 minutes. Both cars had mild to moderate damage.
