LuVera Ann (Wymer) Peffer, 85, of Home, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home. She was born in Creekside, on October 12, 1938, to the late Margaret (Reynolds) and Lloyd Wymer.
LuVera was a lifelong member of Center Presbyterian Church, Creekside. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, baking and cooking, but especially attending her grandchildren’s activities.
Surviving her are her children, sons Raymond (Betty) Peffer, of Marion Center, and Donald (Diane) Peffer, of Marion Center; grandsons Matthew S. (Chrissy) Peffer, of Virginia, Mitchell R. (Stacey) Peffer, of Indiana, and Nathan A. (Elizabeth) Peffer, of Homer City; five great-grandchildren, Rooney, Mason, Mackenzie, Declan and Gianna; one brother David Wymer, of Ohio; sister-in-law Ada Mae Wymer, of TN; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, LuVera was preceded in death by her husband Raph Peffer, in 2022, siblings, brothers Lloyd, Charles and Jack Wymer, and sisters Margaret Fairman and Anna Bence.
Friends will be received by the family at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4-7 PM and on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Chris Marshall officiating.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Crystal Waters Personal Care Home, as well as the nurses and aides of VNA, Indiana, for the excellent care LuVera received.
