It was a relatively quiet day yesterday for Indiana County first responders.
The first call of the day was at 11:05 AM as a gas leak was reported on Snyder Lane in Burrell Township. The Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were dispatched, and Black Lick fire officials said that a pipe was leaking in a wooded area. People’s Gas was notified.
A vehicle fire was also reported yesterday. The call went out at 7:36 PM for a fire along Route 286 west in Young Township. Coal Run-McIntyre Volunteer Fire Department was called out at the time.
First responders were also dispatched this morning to Route 156 in Armstrong County for a structure fire. Iselin and Coal Run fire departments were called to the scene to help other fire crews. No details are available right now on the structure fire.
