An Indiana man charged with fleeing law enforcement officials back in September was sentenced Friday in Indiana County Court.
24-year-old Tyrone Thomas III was sentenced to serve between 3 and 23 months in Indiana County Jail along with paying court costs and fines for a charge of flight to avoid apprehension dating back to September 24th. Indiana Borough Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant to Thomas in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street but he fled from officers on foot. After a brief chase, he was taken into custody.
Also sentenced was 56-year-old Cynthia Pandullo of Indiana. She was ordered to serve one year of probation for a charge of retail theft from an incident in December. Details on that incident are not available.
