West Shamokin’s Alex Talmadge topped the competition at the District 6 AA golf championships held at Scotch Valley Country Club in Hollidaysburg on Wednesday.
Talmadge shot an even par 72, beating out Westmont’s Caden Miller by four strokes. River Valley’s Jake Pynos finished third in the competition with a 77 while West Shamokin’s Logan Geist placed fourth.
River Valley’s Jeremy Reed took sixth while West Shamokin’s Gunnar Shoop just made the cut at seventh.
West Shamokin also claimed the team tournament followed by Westmont, River Valley and Central Cambria.
