IUP football is welcoming four mid-year transfers to their 2025 team. They are:
- QB Matthew Rueve from Boston College, a 2024 Second Team All-G-MAC member, who started all 11 games last year and Completed 209-342 passes for 2,646 yards and 26 TDs. He has one year of eligibility
- Devin Whitlock of Monessen, who comes from Pitt, but never played a game since walking on in the spring of 2023. In his senior year of high school, he threw for 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns and rushed for 1,189 yards and 23 touchdowns, leading Belle Vernon to a 10-1 record and the WPIAL Championships
- David Awuah from Seton hill, a safety that Totaled 59 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 10 pass break ups, 5 interceptions last season
- Defensive Back Mehki Johnson from Millersville.
