Jury selection is scheduled for multiple cases today in Indiana County Court, including one for a man charged in connection with a domestic dispute in Blairsville.
Blairsville police accused 53-year-old Gary C. Blaney, Jr. with two counts of simple assault and single counts of strangulation, terroristic threats and harassment in connection with an incident on June 2nd of last year. Authorities did not release the details of the incident, but said it happened at a home along East Market Street.
Jury selection is also scheduled today for Phillip and Melanie Ann Barrnett of Robinson. They face three counts each of child endangerment and reckless endangerment, while Melanie also faces a charge of witness intimidation, for an incident on January 1st of 2023.
