Blairsville Police arrested a man for a case of harassment earlier this week.
According to Police, 30-year-old Richard Torres Santiago of Blairsville was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, harassment, stalking, obstructing highways, and driving on a suspended license on May 27th. Officials say that the victims, Kesha Webb of Indiana and Kelsey Shank of Blairsville had parked along North Spring Street in Blairsville when Santiago pulled his vehicle in front of theirs, blocking them from leaving. Santiago then got out of his vehicle and confronted Webb who was sitting in the drivers seat. He began yelling at her through the closed window.
Santiago assaulted Webb in the same location just a week before. Charges were filed at Magistrate Robert Bell’s office.
