Down in the minors, the Altoona Curve/New Hampshire Fisher Cats game was rained out last night. The two teams will play two seven-inning games today to make up for it. Po-Yu Chen will start game one while Cy Nelson will start game two. Altoona is looking to finally get on the scoreboard in this series as New Hampshire has held them without a single run over the last three games.
The Curve’s offices were busy, though. Pitchers Fineas Del Bonta-Smith and J.C. Flowers were both promoted to Indianapolis, while pitcher Beau Burrows was promoted from Greensboro to Altoona.
