The Steelers announced yesterday that Big Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey, and Joey Porter, Sr. will be this year’s inductees to the team’s Hall of Honor.
Roethlisberger played all 18 years of his NFL career with the Steelers and won two Super Bowls. He ranks fifth all-time in the NFL in passing yardage, third in four-quarter comebacks, with 41, and is tied for third with 53 game-winning drives.
Pouncey played his entire career with the Steelers, from 2010 to 2020. He made the Pro Bowl nine times and was an All-Pro twice, and won one Super Bowl.
Porter played for the Steelers from 1999 to 2006 and also played three more NFL seasons, one for Miami and two for Arizona. He made three of his four Pro Bowls as a Steeler and also won a Super Bowl. He got the news at Steelers camp, on his son, Joey Porter Jr.’s 25th birthday. The younger Porter is a star Steelers’ cornerback.
