Sunday was a busy day for Indiana County’s first responders.
The day started at 9:35 AM as Indiana Fire Association members were sent out for a physical rescue on Stormer Road in White Township.
The first of two vehicle accidents was reported at 11:58 AM on Route 403 North in Pine Township. Pine Township and Cherryhill Township fire departments, state police and Citizen’s Ambulance were sent to the crash site.
The other accident was on Route 56 East in Brush Valley Township. Brush Valley fire department was sent out at 6:51 PM. Details on both crashes were not released.
A fuel spill was reported at 6:52 PM on Route 422 East in Pine Township. Pine Township and Cherryhill Township firefighters were sent out, with the HAZMAT team sent out three minutes later.
