Homer City welcomed the holiday season with its Christmas Parade and Light-up night celebration.

The annual event held by the Homer City Area Business Association brought many people to downtown Homer City. The night kicked off with a parade on Main Street to the fire hall, where the Community Christmas Tree at the fire hall was lit.

Also during the ceremonies, Homer City Mayor Arlene Wanatosky announced Kristin Esposito was the 2025 citizen of the year. She is the owner of Yellow Creek Bread Company and she says she has a lot of support for the town.
The event was hosted by the Homer City Area Business Association, and also featured a Christmas Bazaar, cookie decorating, and visits with Santa Claus.
