On Thursday, the Indiana County Chamber announced the 2026 class of their Business Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Selection committee have named:
DECEASED
- Martin Bearer of the Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort and Conference Center
- James Nix of the Prairie State Incubator Company and founding director of Homer City National Bank
LIVING
- Greg Sipos of First Commonwealth Bank
- Local entrepreneurs The Lawer Family
- Local entrepreneurs The Lockard Family
The Chairperson’s selection for the 11th class of the Hall of Fame was Hastie Kinter. After the chamber meeting, she said she was honored to be named to the hall of fame.
The induction ceremonies will be held in September of 2026, and their stories will join the others in the new location of the Chamber Business Hall of Fame at the Indiana County Welcome Center at the former First Commonwealth Bank Building in Downtown Indiana.
