State police confirmed that an adult and two children died this morning in a fire in Clymer.
Indiana County 911 sent the Clymer, Cherryhill Township, Commodore and Hope fire departments at 4:14 AM for the call at 420 Hancock Street and found the duplex was fully involved. State Police Trooper and Public Information Officer Cliff Greenfield confirmed both halves of the duplex were occupied and some were able to get out. Two dogs also died in the fire
The building is a complete loss. Those who got out are getting help from relatives.
State police fire marshals were joined this morning by their forensics unit, the criminal investigation unit and the CARS unit to help with the investigation. The cause of the fire remains unknown but no foul play is suspected.
The identities of the deceased have not been released.
