The preliminary hearing for a Clairton man charged in connection with a shooting last Saturday night in Indiana Borough was continued to April 30th.
Court documents show 22-year-old Tymere Johnson is facing charges of prohibited possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license and receiving stolen property for the incident that happened around 10:00 PM on March 21st in the area of School Street and West Avenue during the unsanctioned IUPatty’s celebratory weekend. Police say he exchanged gunfire with an unknown individual then fled in a car. He was apprehended later on.
He remains in Indiana County Jail on $250,000 bond.
