Marion Center scored three runs in the first inning and broke the game open with a six-run fourth in an 11-1 win over Portage. Gracynn Silvis got the win in the circle, throwing five innings and striking out five, while giving up two hits and two walks. Macie Miller and Kaily Anderson each had two hits for the Stingers.
Marion Center is 2-2 (2-2 in the Heritage Conference). Portage fell to 2-2 (2-2).
