Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission discussed Rustic Ridge, a new nursing home and a site plan at Windy Ridge.
The commission granted a 60-day extension for review of the Rustic Ridge Development’s final major subdivision. Township Code Enforcement Officer Jonathan Major said that the subdivision still had several things that the engineer and developer are working through, so they asked for the review extension. At the latest, this will be ready for final approval in two months.
The commission also gave conditional approval for a final site plan for Tulip Family, LLC for a nursing home facility at 2736 West Pike Road. It will be a 26-room facility that will house at most 52 residents. Major detailed some of the conditions that need to be done.
Also granted conditional approval was a preliminary/final site plan for Kewit Construction at Windy Ridge Business and Technology Park. They plan on using the area as a laydown site for the Homer City Redevelopment project. The approval had one condition, which is to coordinate with Kewit to make sure a sanitary sewer line is protected.
