Reports say former Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has a new assignment as he will join NBC Sports as a commentator for their “Football Night in America” broadcasts before the Sunday Night Football games.
Tomlin coached the Steelers for 19 seasons and has one Super Bowl win in two appearances, and in his time with the Black and Gold, has not had a losing season. Tomlin’s arrival comes at a time when the NBC pregame show is seeing some change in talent. One change is that Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy will not return to the show.
NBC has made no announcements regarding other possible changes.
