The Altoona Curve was limited to nine baserunners all game as they were shut out by the Hartford Yard Goats 9-0 Sunday afternoon.
Pitcher Khristian Curtis tossed 3.2 scoreless frames with four strikeouts, one hit allowed and two walks, on 63 pitches, but the bullpen faltered and allowed all nine Hartford runs. Allesandro Ercolani took the loss.
Altoona is off today, as they head to New Hampshire to take on the Fisher Cats in a six-game set that starts tomorrow night.
