Along with DUI cases, hearings at Indiana County’s District Courts will include a case of assault from earlier this year.
Court documents show that 21-year-old Michael Thomas Murphy of Indiana is charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct-engaging in fighting and purchasing alcohol for a minor from an incident on January 6th of 2026.
Also on the docket is the case of 44-year-old Terrence Chigas who faces two counts of simple assault, harassment and terroristic threats for an incident on May 22nd.
Both cases will go before District Judge Christopher Welch today.
