White Township Supervisors continue to field comments on a proposed ordinance for junked, abandoned and nuisance vehicles.
That ordinance is now out for public review. During public comment, there were comments both for and against some the changes, including a rule concerning covering the vehicle. Township Manager Chris Anderson said they are still accepting comments from the public.
Supervisors also approved a bid of $647,009 from Traffic Control and Engineering of Bentleyville for the traffic signal replacement project at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Indian Springs Road. The township received two offers after a prior period brought no bids in. Anderson said that they modified the project’s timeline to try to attract companies.
