The Indiana County ATHENA award finalists were announced last night at a special Chamber After-Hours event at S&T Bank.
Three individuals were named finalists for the 2026 ATHENA Leadership Award. They are:
- Brenda DiCicco, who is a partner in Smith, Lewis, Chess and Company LLP. She is also a member of the InFirst Bank Board of Directors, and formerly served on the board for the United Way of Indiana County, The CARE Center of Indiana County, and is a former member of Quota of Indiana and Business and Professional Women She is currently active with the Evergreen Women’s Peer Mentorship and Leadership Growth Circle.
- Jill Mountain, a legislative aide for State Representative Jim Struzzi and a former administrative assistant and office manager at the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the board for the Indiana County Tourist Bureau.
- Nicole Sipos, the first woman to serve as Indiana Borough Manager. She is also the chair of the county’s Solid Waste Authority. She is also a longtime coach for women’s basketball and a board member for the Wrestling Boosters. She is also a former member of Quota of Indiana.
Also announced last night were the finalists for the Young ATHENA Professional Award. They are:
- Bree Hyde, vice president and project manager at S&T Bank
- Indiana County Treasurer Kimberly McCullough
- Tracy Stake, branch operations manager and assistant vice president at InFirst Bank.
The award recipients and the winner of the Spadafora Family ATHENA Scholarship winner will be announced at the Emerging Women’s Leadership Luncheon at the Indiana Country Club on October 14th from 11 AM to 1 PM.
