Gerald S. “Jerry” Ager, 76 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at WVU Medicine Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. He was born April 4, 1950 in Colver, PA, the son of the late Stanton Ager and Martha Jane (Nealon) Ager. Jerry was a graduate of Blairsville High School Class of 1968. He was a US Marine veteran having served during the Vietnam war. Jerry was a very good basketball player and he enjoyed shooting pool, playing golf and being outdoor in nature.
He is survived by his sons: Nick Ager, Ben Ager and Chris Ager & Lindsay Middleton, all of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Bella Acosta (Ricardo), Ocean, Alice, Ellie, CJ, Frankie & Jace Ager; siblings: Diane Canale, Margaret Jacobs (John), Thomas Ager (Heather) and Charles Ager and his ex-wife and mother of his children, Kathleen Sanders & husband Derek, Taylorville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert Ager and Joanne Ager.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
