The Pirates’ Brandon Lowe is a finalist for the National League Silver Slugger Award at second base. Lowe hit 35 home runs and drove in 96 runs in the 2026 season, topping all second basemen in the Major Leagues. The other finalist is Milwaukee’s Brice Turang.
The last Pirates Silver Slugger winner was Andrew McCutchen in 2015, when he won his fourth consecutive award. The most recent second baseman to win the award was Neil Walker, in 2014.
