Altoona’s five-game winning streak was stopped in a 3-2 loss to the Chesapeake Baysox last night.
Po-Yu Chen threw five innings of one-run ball, striking out four and walking four over 75 pitches. Temarr Johnson hit a game-tying homer in the eighth inning. The two teams will play again tonight, with Alessandro Ercolani starting for the Curve.
