PENNDOT is announcing that the Route 422 eastbound off ramp and the 286 on ramp to 422 eastbound in Indiana will reopen no later than June 30th.
The work has been delayed due to recent weather conditions. Crews will continue nightly closures from 6 PM to 6 AM to finish the work and move on to the second phase of construction. Detour signs are in place to guide drivers around the construction. Route 286 drivers should detour via Ben Franklin Road and Business Route 422. And if you’re exiting Route 422 eastbound, follow detours through Route 119 and loop back to the 286/Oakland Avenue exit.
This is part of a $14.5 million project being handled by Derry Construction, expected to wrap up in December 2025.
