The Steelers will start the season with a road game for the tenth time in the last eleven years. The NFL unveiled the schedule for the 2025 season, and the opener for Mike Tomlin’s crew will be against Justin Fields and the Jets, at one o’clock on Sunday, September 7th. If Aaron Rodgers signs with the Steelers, it would be a flip-flop of last year’s opening game quarterbacks for the two teams.
The Steelers are home the following Sunday against the Seahawks, then travel to New England in Week Three before flying to Dublin, Ireland to play the Vikings, with the Steelers technically the “home” team, on September 28th. They’ll get a bye the following week.
The schedule also features back-to-back night games, October 16th at Cincinnati and the 26th against Green Bay. They’ll also play a Sunday night game against the Chargers in LA on November 9th.
The preseason begins August 9th at Jacksonville.
