The Pennsylvania Office of the Fire Commissioner is offering two grants to help fire departments and to help with training.
One grant is the Emergency Training Center Capital Grant program, which is designed to either establish or modernize facilities, acquire or renovate structures and repair or purchase equipment. The grant is open to emergency services training centers, community colleges, county-owned facilities, municipal or fire-department owned facilities, and non-profit countywide organizations. The other is the Municipal Fire Department Capital Grant program, which will award money to municipal fire departments to improve structures and firefighting equipment.
Awards for both grants range from $25,000 to $100,000. Applications are due on May 29th. Applications should be submitted online. For more information, click the links below.
