The state Game Commission says the newly-signed legislation permitting Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania will result in changes to this year’s already-established hunting seasons, so the Board of Game Commissioners meetings it had planned Friday and yesterday have been postponed until July 28th. That will allow more time for the agency to collect public comment on the new law.
The Board will deliberate possible additions to the hunting schedule, but it is not yet known how soon the first changes will be implemented. The meeting will be at the Game Commission headquarters in Harrisburg and in-person public comments will be allowed. E-mailed public comments may be made to pgcboard@pa.gov.
