A Penn Run man was arrested after a high-speed chase through White Township last night.
State police say they were trying to pull over a car driven by 26-year-old Phillip Crook on Oakland Avenue when he began to flee. He went onto Indian Springs Road then to South 6th Street before exiting onto Route 422, reaching speeds of 123 miles an hour. After exiting onto Route 553, he turned onto North Harmony Road where he pulled into a driveway and surrendered without further incident.
Crook was charged with fleeing and eluding, DUI and multiple traffic violations. He is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting an arraignment hearing.
