UPDATE AT 11:20 AM: State police have confirmed one adult and two children died in this morning’s fire in Clymer. State Police is expected to issue a formal news release later today.
UPDATE AT 10:00 AM: State Police have confirmed at least one person died in this morning’s fire at a duplex on Hancock Street. The cause of the fire remains unknown. State Police Fire Marshals and their forensic unit are on the scene to determine the cause of the fire. PSP Public Information Officer Trooper Cliff Greenfield also confirmed some were able to get out.
PSP and the Indiana County Coroner’s Office will provide more information as they are able.

WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED
At least one person was killed in a fire this morning in Clymer.
Indiana County 911 sent the Clymer, Cherryhill Township, Commodore and Hope fire departments along with the county Emergency Management team and Citizen’s Ambulance to a multi-family home on 420 Hancock Street at 4:14 AM. The building is considered a total loss. Details on injuries and fatalities have not been released, but fire officials confirmed that Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. was called to the scene. State police fire marshals have been called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Marion Center firefighters were sent to the Clymer fire hall an hour later for standby detail.
