The United Way of Indiana County wrapped up its annual fundraising campaign Friday with their Community Campaign Celebration.
Community members gathered at the Indiana Country Club for brunch, and to celebrate another successful campaign. This year’s campaign was “Strength in Unity”, focusing on working together to take care of the community. Campaign Co-Chair Rob Heinrich said this campaign was “unbelievable”.

The goal set for the campaign was $724,211, representing the area code for Indiana (724) and the services of 211.
Not only did they reach their goal, but they also exceeded it, bringing in a total of $727,886.09.
United Way Executive Director Joe Fishel said that while there is a monetary goal, the real goal is to help others in the community.
The next campaign will be announced later this year.
