The Indiana County Commissioners honored the IUP women’s basketball team last night at the KCAC, recognizing the Crimson Hawks for making it all the way to the national championship game and finishing as the NCAA runner-up. And coach Craig Carey, in a conversation with Mark Bertig, said the success this season has been a great aid in building the Crimson Hawks for the future.

IUP finished 31-5 this season, losing to Grand Valley State in the national championship game.
Carey says his offseason has been busy during recruiting season, and IUP is getting some exciting new talent.
