Meghan Patrick is canceling the remainder of her scheduled concert dates for the year to focus on her health and family.
In a post on Instagram, the singer wrote “with a very heavy heart, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of my shows for the year, starting in June.” She said she’ll “finish the last couple of shows” she has this month and then will step away from touring. Patrick also reassured fans that this doesn’t mean she’s “dissappearing” or “quitting,” but that she’s just “doing things a little differently in the best way” for the quality of her music and family.
The country star announced earlier this spring that she and her husband Mitchell Tenpenny are expecting their first child together.
