LeAnn Rimes is postponing additional performance dates as she’s been ordered to remain on vocal rest.
In a new health update on Instagram Stories, the singer said “after a follow up with my doctor, she has strongly advised me to take an additional week for vocal rest while I heal from this sickness.” She reassured fans that her shows this weekend are NOT canceled, but rather rescheduled, and that fans’ tickets are still valid. The Washington, D.C., show has been moved to August 15th and the Wilmington, North Carolina, show is now happening on August 16th.
Rimes opened up about her severe illness on April 29th, revealing that she caught COVID and it led to severe laryngitis.
