PIAA quarterfinal baseball happens today on Renda Digital TV, with Indiana taking on Hopewell, co-presented by Force Turf Solutions and Marcus & Mack.
In Quad-A, Indiana has not been scored-upon in its four playoff games this season, with three shutouts in the WPIAL and another Monday against Somerset in the first round of the PIAA.
Coach Dan Petroff expects to have all of his pitchers available. He says they are well aware of the streak but they can’t expect to always throw zeroes.
Airtime on Renda Digital TV today is 11:40 AM from Gateway High School, with first pitch at noon.
Later in the afternoon, coach Scott Bauer’s Homer-Center Wildcats travel to Bald Eagle Area for their Class A game against MMI, a prep school out of Luzerne County.
Bauer says there isn’t a lot of information out there about the Preppers, but he says they’ve been working on at-bats against left-handers this week, with MMI having three southpaws that they use a lot. Ultimately, though, he says, it’s more about Homer-Center than it is about MMI.
Airtime will be 3:40 with first pitch at 4 on Renda Digital TV, presented by Robindale and Homer City Area Athletic Booster Club.
