At Monday’s 106th Western Pennsylvania Golf Association Junior Championship Tournament at the Westmoreland Country Club, West Shamokin graduate and IUP recruit Alex Talmadge finished in a three-way tie for fifth place, just two strokes off the pace of the champion, Camden Reyes, who won in a one-hole playoff over Max Moturra. Talmadge fired a three-over 74.
Indiana’s Ryan Bell and Saltsburg’s Jeremy Reed finished in a five-way tie for tenth, at ten-over. Indiana’s Will Steve shot 18-over par, good for a tie for 67th.
