Linda Kay Carmo, daughter of W. Edward Garlock & Estella Garlock Swindell (Foor), was born in Everett, PA on Jan. 31, 1943. Linda attended high school in Blairsville, PA, graduating in 1960 and later retired from Torrance State Hospital. Linda was a member of the Blairsville Chapter #166 Order of the Eastern Star & the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford. She was an extraordinary storyteller, avid bingo player & crocheter, loved traveling, all things Bedford, and volunteering in her community. On June 5, 2026, surrounded by family, Linda returned to her rightful Father in Heaven. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Lee Carmo, and her brother, Larry Garlock. Linda leaves to cherish her memory & legacy her children: Mike Carmo, Sr. (Janet), Lori Shearer (Don), Thom Carmo (Stacey), & Trisha Carmo (Steve); her brother: Ed Garlock (Laura); grandchildren: Gen Mellott (Chad), Mandy Carmo (Tim), Mike Carmo, Jr. (Meredith), Ashley Snyder (Dustan), Kaitlyn Mizanin (Matt), Shannon McQuality (Tyler) & Colin Bresslin; great-grandchildren: Emily, Danielle, Lauren, & Levi King, & Wyatt Carmo, along with a host of family & friends. The family will receive friends at Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Co., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA Sun. June 28, 2026, from Noon until 2PM.
