The Indiana County Office of Planning and Development has announced a public hearing will be held on July 13th to accept Emergency Shelter Project Proposals and Program Comments.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide interested agencies and citizens with an opportunity to make comments and or present proposals for a 2026 Emergency Services Solutions Grant. The proposal must fall under one of these six criteria:
- Rapid rehousing
- Street outreach
- Homelessness prevention
- Emergency Shelter
- Homeless Management Information Systems
- Administrative costs
The meeting will be held at 1:00 PM at the Indiana County Commissioners hearing room on the second floor. If you are unable to attend, submissions can be sent to Luann Zak at the county office of planning and development or emailed to her.
