A man charged with a domestic incident in June in Indiana Borough is due in court today for his preliminary hearing.
Court documents show 33-year-old Timothy Earl Austin of Indiana faces charges of aggravated assault-attempt to cause serious bodily injury, aggravated assault with extreme indifference and possession of an instrument of crime for the incident on June 8th. Indiana Borough Police were sent to the 1200 block of Philadelphia Street for a report of domestic violence against a woman who claimed a verbal argument with her boyfriend turned physical when he started to choke her. She was also found with a non-life threatening cut on her leg.
He was unable to post $200,000 bail so he remained in Indiana County Jail since his arrest.
