Hopeful Hearts of Indiana has announced that they will be closing.
In a post on their Facebook page, the children’s grief counseling service says that the closure is due to a loss of funding from Concordia-IRMC-VNA. Since the organization is listed under the non-profit status, they will no longer be able to operate as Hopeful Hearts, nor will they have access to programming supplies including the grief library.
The post does say that former leadership is looking for a way to continue operations.
Hopeful Hearts has provided youth grief counselling services to the community for the past 15 years.
