A portion of 422 has re-opened following a three-vehicle accident this afternoon.
Indiana County 911 reported the accident at 2:23 p.m. for a location on Route 422 in Armstrong Township. Officials say that one vehicle appears to have crossed the center line, though further details are pending investigation.
One person was life-flighted to a nearby hospital for treatment. All three vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene
Indiana Fire Association members were assisted by PSP and emergency medical services.
