The Pirates got some rest and travel in yesterday after going on a stretch of 17 games in 17 days where they won five and lost 12. The next stop is Miami as they take on the Marlins tonight.

Oneil Cruz is continuing his rehab assignment in Indianapolis. He is expected to rejoin the team for Friday’s home-stand against the Boston Red Sox. Cruz has played seven innings in each of his first two games at Indy, going 0 for 5 with three strikeouts and two walks.
