Multiple fire departments were sent out to a fire in Grant Township yesterday.
Indiana County 911 sent the Marion Center, Glen Campbell, Rossiter, Commodore and Clymer Fire Departments along with the EMA Team to a home on Pine Vale Road at 12:10 PM. Mahaffey fire department from Clearfield, Plumville and Elk Run Fire Department from Jefferson County were called in a few minutes later for standby detail. Initial reports from the Marion Center Fire Department said that the fire was also endangering a nearby property.
No word yet on the extent of the damage or the cause of the fire.
A vehicle accident was also reported yesterday afternoon on Route 119 South near Power Plant Road in Center Township at 3:14 PM. Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire departments were sent out along with State Police. Details on the crash have not been released.
