A car caught fire in White Township Monday afternoon.
Indiana County 911 reported the blaze at 2:22 p.m. at the intersection of Rustic Lodge Road and Saltsburg Avenue. According to Indiana Fire Chief Lee Thompson, a man was driving his 1977 Lincoln when he noticed smoke coming from under the hood. He then pulled over and found flames in the engine compartment.
Thompson said the car was a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
